On 15/07/2023, Sagen officially signed a contract with the Investor – Westfood Hau Giang Joint Stock Company (Westfood Hau Giang), the construction design and design consultancy package for the Hau Giang Westfood Factory project in Song Hau Industrial Park – phase 1 in Chau Thanh district,  Hau Giang province.

The project is built on a total land area of more than 70,000 square meters, including many items such as factories, offices, canteen, guest house, garages, mechanical and electrical workshops, boiler houses, garbage collection areas and other facilities. Other ancillary items.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet, Chairman and General Director of Westfood Hau Giang, the Company's big plan in 2023 is to start construction of Hau Giang Westfood Factory meeting European standards to put into operation in 2024. The project is assessed to contribute to the development of the agricultural sector of Hau Giang province, creating job opportunities for thousands of workers, helping to consume local agricultural products, as well as stabilizing  and raising incomes for farmers here. At the same time, the project is expected to be one of the largest agricultural product processing plants in the West, capable of contributing greatly to the economic and social development of the  province and the region. This can create many new opportunities for the locality, including the development of surrounding industry and services.
