In June 16th, 2020, Saigon Silicon City JSC – SSC and Sagen conducted the siging ceremony of the consultant contract of “Construction and Development the SaiGon Silion City” project at lot I6-I7, street D1, High-tech park, Long Thanh My Ward, District 9, HCMC.

On April 10, 1995, former mayor of San Francisco, Frank Jordan and Chairman of People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh city, Truong Tan Sang, former President of Vietnam, signed a formal friendship agreement between San Francisco and Ho Chi Minh city. By 2000, the two cities continued be signed a cooperation agreement to build a new model to attract foreign high-tech investment into Vietnam, based on the Silicon Valley Technology Park model.

Being cherished and researched for more than 10 years, overcoming many difficulties caused by the financial and economic crisis, in 2015, San Francisco and the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City agreed on the policy of building the SaiGon Silicon City project. The project is considered as a "bridge connecting the technology banks" between Vietnamese and the United States, and is a pilot for large-scale investment models in key provinces of Vietnam in the future.

With a total investment of about 860 billion VND and a land of more than 52 hectares, when completed, SaiGon Silicon City is expected to become a smart city, a high-tech park worthy of the region, attracting Foreign enterprises operating in high technology such as the United States, Japan, UK, Germany, Korea, Singapore ..., especially businesses in the Silicon Valley come to VietNam and invest in research and production high-tech products.

On June 16, 2020, SaiGon Silicon City trusted and selected Sagen to be a consultant to make document of concept design, basic design, construction drawing design and cost estimation, assessment and permit to construction the Import-Export Warehouse - 12,800 m2, General Service House - 32,936 m2, R&D Office Center 3 - 47,905 m2, Clubhouse - 11,000 m2 and Central square - 12,126 m2, at the same time also selected Sagen as the project management and supervision consultant for the Center 4 of the project.
