On October 10th, 2019, Bibica Joint Stock Company held the inauguration ceremony of "Western Bibica Factory" project at Vinh Loc 2 industrial zone, Long An province. The ceremony was held solemnly with the participation of representatives of Owner, Design Consultant unit – Sagen, General contractor for construction – Dai Dung, Vinh Loc Industrial Zone Management Authority and other important partners of project.

Bibica is a leading confectionery brand in Vietnam with many famous confectionery such as Hura, Goody, Happy, Emily, Warmly, hard candy, soft candy, etc. Over 20 years of establishment and development, Bibica has constantly improved its sales system, expanded distribution channels and invested in building more new factories. In 2018, Bibica decided to invest in building the 4th factory - Western Bibica Factory with modern machinery and production lines from the US, Japan, Netherlands,...with production capacity up to 10,000 tons per year to provide high quality packaged food for domestic and export markets.

On September 26th, 2018, Sagen was selected as a consultant for construction design and total cost estimation of Western Bibica Factory, built in Vinh Loc 2 Industrial zone, Long An province with an area of 50,000 m2. After signing the contract, Sagen’s experienced architects and engineers had successfully designed the project with total floor area of over 18.000 m2, includes 2-storey office, workshop, warehouse, auxiliary systems, garage, guard house, roads, landscape, etc. All items are arranged scientifically, aiming to the logical operation, food hygiene and safety during the production process as well as ensure the aesthetic of the overall project, while meeting the Vietnamses and International standards and regulations.

The project was started construction on December 25th, 2018 and completed in 10 months.

The Western Bibica Factory Project marks an important development step in production and business activities of Bibica and this is the 2nd project that Sagen design for Bibica, contributing to strengthening long-term cooperation between Bibica and Sagen as well as the prestige of Sagen in the field of design consultancy of large pharmaceutical and food factory.
