SAGEN Constructive Design Consultancy Joint Stock Company (SAGEN) was founded in 1992 named SAGEL Design Consultancy Centre, was a member of HCMC Industrial Department. In 2003, SAGEN became an independent company. In 2007, SAGEN named SAGEN Constructive Design Consultancy J.S.C

During the past activities, the company has met a lot of difficulties, especially from 2008 up to now, Vietnamese economy has gone through a crisis with high inflation, real estate market has frozen, the construction industry in general and constructive design consultancy have met a lot of difficulties, the design consultancy service market has decreased, leading to cutthroat competition, especially price competition.

Although meeting a lot of difficulties, SAGEN has attempted to improve administrative ability, specialist knowledge and the professionalism for the employees, concurrently diversify service fields. The strength of SAGEN compared to other consultancy companies is that SAGEN is capable of specialized design consultancy in the narrow industry with high technology such as Pharmaceutical and Food industry; concurrently supplying package design – consultancy service, from Planning – Geological & Topographic survey – Feasibility Study – Design – Applying for construction permit and GMP-WHO certification – Project Management and Construction Supervision of Civil and Industrial Projects.

In addition, SAGEN has strengthened coordination with international ranking design consultancy companies to develop design or acted as a local consultant; has coordinated with first rate construction companies to bid “Design and Build”,…

With above-named strengths, SAGEN has gradually been trusted by investors to accept their building design consultancy invitations. The turnover of design consultancy and project management in the difficult period from 2009 up to now has increased on an average of 20% each year. SAGEN has implemented successful design consultancy for over 50 Pharmaceutical and Food factories certified with GMP, WHO, EU and HACCP and won many first prizes in building design competitions at Central and Southern Power companies.
