On January 9th, 2020, Savi Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Savipharm) held a ceremony to receive GMP-EU Certificate and a groundbreaking ceremony for "Hi-tech research and development center" in Lot Z.01-Z.02, Tan Thuan EPZ, District 7, HCMC. The ceremony took place solemnly with the participation of the Investor - Savipharm, Design Consultant Company – Sagen, General contractor, Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone Management Authority, senior officials of Departments, Ministries, Committees and other important partners of project.

Savipharm was established in 2005. After nearly 15 years of operation, with high quality human resources, Savipharm has successfully researched nearly 200 types of licensed drugs for production. In particular, many pharmaceutical types have replaced imported pharmaceuticals, contributing to Savipharm's high revenue growth and efficiency during the past time.

On November 28th, 2019, after inspection and approval, Savipharm was officially granted the GMP-EU Certificate for Savipharm pharmaceutical factory by EU pharmaceutical Management Authority. Previously, Savipharm was also granted the GMP-PIC/S Certificate by the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA) – Japanese Ministry of health in December 2010, helping Savipharm to affirm its brand and expand the consumption market to European countries, Japan, Malaysia, Cambodia, ...

With the science and technology research development strategy for the period 2020 – 2025, Savipharm decided to start construction of a Hi-tech research and development center. The project is located on the existing factory campus of 30,000 m2, including 1 basement, 4 floors and terrace, to continue researching and manufacturing high-tech pharmaceutical materials to replace imported pharmaceutical materials, at the same time cooperate and organize research systems both at home and abroad.
Overall perspective
In May 2018, Sagen was trusted and selected as the construction design consultant for the project. With many years of experience and reputation in the design of a high standard pharmaceutical factory, with a team of professional architects and engineers, Sagen successfully designed the project ensuring the aesthetics, harmony the office block, the existing factory and the new research center, ensuring the convenience and safety during the research and working, as well as meeting the Vietnamese and International standards.

This is the forth project Sagen has cooperated with Savipharm. This project once again affirms the trust of customers and Sagen's leading position in the field of design consultancy for high standard pharmaceutical factory.
