On October 30th, 2021, Investor, Danapha Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company held a groundbreaking ceremony for "Danapha High-Tech Pharmaceutical Factory" at Danang Hi-Tech Park. Danapha Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company was established in 1965, was the precursor of Central Pharmaceutical Factory. After 50 years of development, especially in 2007 after equitization, Danapha made great strides and became one of the leading National Brands. With company’s strategies are to improve production capacity, develope science - technology and affirm the position of Vietnam's pharmaceutical industry in the international market, Danapha has decided to invest in a Hi-tech Pharmaceutical Factory with total area is nearly 80,000 m2, includes Factory, Warehouse, Office Building, Research and Development Center, ancillary items and technical infrastructure. The project has total floor area is more than 25,000 m2 and total investment is nearly 900 billion VND for both phases.

Overall perspective of the project

At the groundbreaking ceremony on October 30th, 2021, Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee - Mr. Tran Phuoc Son said that the pharmaceutical factory construction of Danapha Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company in Danang Hi-Tech Park has a very important meaning. Therefore, City Leaders has a special interest with this project and recommends that Investor and Construction unit have to focus on mobilizing maximum resources, organizing construction to meet the required progress, putting into operation to develop local people’s lives in particular as well as Vietnam's pharmaceutical industry in general.

The project has been designed by Sagen to ensure quality and aesthetics, meet construction standards and regulations, optimize performance and save costs. With Investor's appreciation for Sagen during the design process and the special attention and concern of Local Leaders, Investor continued to trust and choose Sagen as the project management consulting unit to assist Investor in managing and coordinating project to achieve quality, efficiency and on schedule.

This project paves the way for a good cooperation between Danapha and Sagen as well as once again affirms the trust of customers and Sagen's leading position in the field of design, project management and supervision for high standard pharmaceutical and food factory in Vietnam.
