On the morning of November 5th, 2017, the groundbreaking ceremony of “ABIPHA drug, functional food, cosmetic manufacturing factory with GMP WHO, GMP EU, PIC/s, cGMP standards” project was celebrated.

Attending the ceremony includes the Investor’s representative - Abipha High Technology Pharmaceutical J.S.C, Management Board of Industrial Park and the Design Unit’s representative - Sagen Constructive Design Consultancy J.S.C.

After signing the contract, Sagen's team of architects and experts successfully designed the entire project with technical lines following GMP-WHO standards, PICS orientation as follows:

• Production line for traditional medicine + concentrated extract and cosmetics with an area of 4,700 m2.
• Production line of functional foods (powdered nuggets) with an area of 2,500 m2.
• Production line of modern medicines (capsules, tablets and film coated) with an area of 3,200 m2.
• Total gross floor area includes office, factory, warehouse, auxiliary items: about 17,000 m2.

The construction was predictably started within 12 months from the day of commencement.
