On June 21st, 2024, NS BlueScope Corporation hosted a workshop on AI trends and applications in architecture. The workshop not only shared useful knowledge about the application of AI in architecture but also provided an opportunity for architects to meet and share their experiences and understanding about AI. The Sagen team was honored to have the opportunity to participate in the workshop.

One can say that AI is bringing significant changes to the architecture industry, from design and urban planning to construction and maintenance. The application of AI in architecture can bring many benefits such as saving time and costs; enhancing creativity by exploring multiple AI-generated options; predicting risks, thus improving the safety and quality of projects.

The workshop provided an overview of the history of AI in architecture and its applications through different stages. It also included a Q&A session and practical guidance on using the AI application Midjourney.
