24/05/2019 – Vissan and Sagen signed contract for design consultancy of “Vissan Cattle Slaughtering and Food Processing Factory” project

On May 24th, 2019, SAGEN won the bid and was selected to sign a design consultancy contract for "Vissan Cattle slaughtering and food processing factory" project at Long An on the land area of up to 22.4 ha.

Overall perspective

The construction of this factory is a strategic step for Vissan. On the one hand, Vissan implement the policy of moving the slaughter factory out of the residential area of Ho Chi Minh City. On the other hand, the selection of Long An where is a key position and near Ho Chi Minh City to build factory, both convenient for trading activities and ensure easy management and prevention of the spread of cattle and poultry diseases, environmental hygiene, food safety in key economic city. And above all else, this step will create more job opportunities for citizen in Long An province, which has high demand for labor & stable quality.

Facing the big challenge of this project, finding, selecting and examining a design consultant unit with the same stature and execution capacity is not easy. But it is not too surprising when SAGEN is the only name was selected among many other well-known design consultancy companies thanks to our strong reputation with more than 15 years of experience designing over stature 250 projects. It is a series of large-scale industrial and civil projects, including typical food factories such as Masan, VinEco, Kido, Bibica, Nutifood, Panfood, Topcake, AFI, Micoem, etc.

Office perspective

Vissan and Sagen have successfully negotiated and agreed to sign contract with the project design requirements have to ensure optimal performance, comply with food hygiene and safety standards and operate efficiently on each m2 of construction ground floor area as well as the aesthetics of the factory, focusing to designing closed production areas with high-powered and the most modern slaughtering technology line in Vietnam.

This can be considered as the next big milestone that both sides put high expectations on, help elevate business position in particular, and contribute significantly to Vietnam's economy in general.
