04/04/2015 - Sagen Construction Design Consultancy Joint Stock Company held an internal training session for all employees
This is a regular training program held every Saturday, aiming to orient and develop Sagen to a new level as well as improve presentation skills of staff.
The training session consisted of four main parts:
- The sharing on the business leadership model chaired by the General Director: Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tan.
- Lesson learn from experience in consulting design of pharmaceutical projects Traphaco Deputy technical director: Mr. Vo Ngoc Khanh Vinh presented.
- Lesson learn from experience in designing Brotex textile factory projects presented by Architectural Team Leader: Mr. Do Trung Hieu.
- Learning the model of Coteccons Company chaired by Deputy General Director: Mr. Tran Huu Uy
During the sharing session, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tan - General Director clearly indicated the vision, mission and development orientation of Sagen Company. Sagen is gradually improving the management system, having a regime of respecting talents and training a dynamic and professional team of young successors.
Target in 2015 Sagen must reach level 4 and within the next 2 years, must achieve level 5 - 6 in corporate leadership level. Sagen is not only in the Top 10 leading design consulting firms but continues to rise to a higher level. Besides, the General Director also plans to build a professional and friendly working environment for employees, so that Sagen becomes the dream workplace of architects & engineers.
The General Director had sincere sharing, transmitted the fire of enthusiasm to each Sagen staff. Crispy applause resounded instead of the agreement and high determination of each Sagen member together to bring the Sagen boat cross over current low level situation to new heights.
Following the training session was a presentation by Mr. Vo Ngoc Khanh Vinh - Deputy Technical Director of Traphaco's experience in consulting and designing works.
Traphaco project is a large pharmaceutical factory project of Vietnam's pharmaceutical industry. Traphaco has trusted to indicate Sagen as their design consultant.
Through the presentation, Anh Khanh Vinh gave advantages and disadvantages in the design process. From there, draw practical experience in the design consulting process.
After Mr. Khanh Vinh's presentation, the engineers/Architects who involved in the design of the project together gave their opinions to discuss and contribute to perfect the design plan to meet the needs of the investor.
Followed by a presentation by Mr. Do Trung Hieu, showing his experience in designing Brotex textile factory project - phase 3.
Brotex textile factory project is a big project as well, in which Sagen is the design consultant of phase 3. Sagen co-designed Design & Build with Coteccons Construction Company.
The advantages of Sagen when participating in the design of Brotex textile factory are having a team of highly qualified and enthusiastic personnel, along with close cooperation and support between departments to meet the committed schedule.
Besides, there are still some limitations that need to be overcome, such as improving and unifying design software, applying new techniques to print drawings quickly and save time….
Mr. Trung Hieu strongly acknowledged the shortcomings and limitations of himself and the staff in the design process to radically modify and complete the design work for the current project as well as other projects in the future.
After each project, the team leaders and architects & engineers must learn together to improve and develop more and more to meet the investor's expectations.
Finally, there was a presentation by Mr. Tran Huu Uy - Deputy General Director, learning about Coteccons' model.

Through the above presentation, the Deputy General Director messages to all Sagen employees the lessons of development and rise of Coteccons. Each Sagen member must study together and make every effort to build a sustainable Sagen brand and develop constantly in the field of design consulting.
The weekend training session ended with many useful experiences and lessons, each Sagen member felt that they had to constantly practice, study and improve expertise further to contribute for a sustainable and far-reaching development of Sagen.
