Mr. Phan Ngoc Thien - an Architecture major for both prized design solutions said that the design solutions were focused on the following criteria:

+ New building must be made visually prominent with modern figures and accents for the whole building as well as contained unique beauty for the architectural style of the electricity sector.

+ The upgraded architecture based on the existing building that uniform the whole building from low to high points. The design solution maximizes the usable space and facilitates an uninterrupted connection between the new and existing building (Soc Trang Power Building).

+ Natural aeration and light are prioritized to minimize electric consumption.

+ Green architecture makes the working environment harmonize with nature.

Green landscapes are almost used for gardens, podiums, balconies and terraces to make the whole building harmonize with nature. Green plants help regulate the microclimate, creating natural shades and beautifying the environment. The green landscape is an accent of the building and keep up with the global trend in Green Architecture.
